Temperatures continue to decrease for this week

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA,KECY) - As the high pressure system that has brought record temperatures to the region continues to weaken and move east, temperatures will be trending downward over the next couple days.

A Pacific low pressure system will also pass across southern California on Monday bringing breezy conditions to much of the area, while knocking temperatures back to around seasonal normals.

Any rain chances early this week with the passing weather system are likely to be confined to the eastern Arizona higher terrain.

The weather pattern through the latter half of the week should keep temperatures near normal while dry conditions prevail under periods of partly cloudy skies.
