Sonora sees large spike in coronavirus cases and deaths

HERMOSILLO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-Sonora sees a rise in coronavirus cases and deaths.

Health officials report 412 new cases along with 53 new deaths.

Since March 16, Sonora now stands with 7,306 cases along with 674 deaths.

The new cases were reported in the following cities; Cajeme 132, Hermosillo 103, Nogales 74, Guaymas 25, San Luis Rio Colorado 25, Navojoa 18, Caborca 9, Huatabampo 9, Empalme 4, Etchojoa 3, Bacum 3, Gral. Plutarco Elias Calles 2, Benjamin Hill, Aconchi 1, Baviacora 1, Agua Prieta 1, San Miguel de Horcacitas 1, Santa Ana 1, Alamos 1, Nacozari de Garcia 1, San Ignacio Rio Muerto 1.

The new deaths were reported in the following cities; Cajeme 29, Guaymas 11, Nogales 3, Hermosillo 3, Huatabampo 1, Caborca 1, San Ignacio Rio Muerto 1, Bacum 1, Imuris 1, Empalme 1, Magdalena 1.
