EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The Imperial County Public Health Department (ICPHD) announced Thursday evening of the deaths of two additional coronavirus (COVID-19) patients.

Health officials have not released additional information on the patients' deaths at this time.

As of Thursday, the Imperial County Health Department reports 61 people have recovered from the virus, and there are currently 163 active cases.

So far, the majority of cases in the Imperial County are in the 18-49 age range, making up over half of the county's confirmed cases.
