OCOTILLO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents say they rescued an undocumented immigrant in the Jacumba Wilderness on Sunday.

At about 5:39 p.m., Border Patrol agents were told about a person lost near Ocotillo and were notified of their last known GPS location.

Around an hour later, the lost migrant was found a mile away from the U.S./ Mexico border and didn't need any medical aid.

The person was taken into custody after revealing they didn't have the necessary documentation to be in the United States.
