American Airlines to cut additional international flights

TEXAS (KYMA, KECY)- Starting March 16, American Airlines will suspend long haul international flights.

The change is due to new travel restrictions from the U.S. government amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Short-haul international flights to countries such as Canada, Mexico, and Central America will continue.

Officials from the airlines ask that customers check their website for any flight cancelations.
