“Sunniest Place” exhibit to open at Yuma Art Center

City of Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY)- New galleries are coming to the Yuma Art Center, including the return of "The Sunniest Place on Earth," beginning November 30.

Thirty different artists from across the region will be represented, each telling its own story.

Five galleries will contain a variety of artworks, in different styles and media forms.

"I think all of the exhibits showcase the strong craftsmanship and diversity in aesthetic that exists in our arts community,” says Arts and Culture Program Manager Lindsay Benacka.

The reception for "The Sunniest Place on Earth" exhibit takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on December 12

It is open to all and is free to attend. Light appetizers will be provided, as well as a cash/credit bar.

The Yuma Art Center is located at 254 S. Main St. in downtown Yuma.
