UPDATE: Power restored to APS customers

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - UPDATE (10:58 A.M.)

APS does not report any power outages.

Approximately 248 Arizona Public Service (APS) customers remain without power on Friday.

The APS outage map shows restoration time as 8 a.m. Areas affected are 10th Street to 16th Street and Avenue C to Avenue A.

APS reports the cause of the outage is due to equipment problems. APS technicians are working to fix the outage caused by a damaged switching cabinet.
