More winds for Tuesday with cooler and drier days ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Winds continue again today, with west winds bringing wind speeds of 5-15 MPH with gusts as high as 20 MPH or stronger at times.

Colder temperatures will settle into the area beginning tonight, where the highest potential for frost and freeze conditions will be in La Paz County.

Expect these cold overnight temperatures to persist for the rest of the week.

A following passage cold front will sweep through the region Wednesday and Thursday bringing below-normal temperatures and drier weather.

Afternoon highs will trend low and mid-60s with colder overnights, and winds are expected to rejoin again Friday.
