Stronger winds with slight rain chances for Tuesday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A storm system passed through North earlier this evening delivering gusty winds to portions of Southeastern CA and some light rain showers in southern California.

Looking at our conditions for the rest of tonight the storm system has weakened with clouds still lingering around.

It was also a pretty breezy and windy evening in parts of the Desert Southwest and for the rest of the night portions of Imperial County will still experience gusts around 25-35 MPH or stronger.

Calmer winds will return Wednesday morning

For our temperatures, afternoon highs will return near normal tomorrow before another warm-up. Above-normal temperatures will also return at the end of this week.

Later this week, another storm system will move into the west coast. This may deliver another shot of rain late this weekend and at the start of next week.
