More clouds and slightly warmer for the weekend

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Today has been an overall quiet and pleasant Friday.

By tonight clearer skies and a light breeze through the rest of tonight and into tomorrow morning with winds ranging from 5-15 mph or stronger.

Another weather system is expected to bring more rain showers to Northern California this weekend.

On the other hand, here in the Desert Southwest, a drying and warming trend is expected for the weekend and into Monday.

The main impacts we will get from the weak weather disturbances passing through the western states, is periods of cloudy skies.

Beside the extra clouds, we are staying comfortable with temperatures slightly above normal for Sunday and Monday.

The next chance for rain showers in our area is expected on Tuesday.
