Gradually clearing with more sunshine and drier days to come

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - A weak weather system is passing through our region today through Wednesday keeping rain chances off to the east and in the higher elevation areas.

Winds coming from the west will keep Imperial County breezy through the rest of our evening before winds start to weaken early tomorrow morning.

For the rest of the evening we will see clear skies, calm winds, and chillier temperatures.

Temperatures will drop down to the low and upper 40s for our overnight lows.

A gradual drying trend will start to arrive Wednesday night with afternoon highs trending slightly below normal for the next several days.

By the weekend and beginning of next week, another weather system will arrive bringing cooler and wetter conditions.
