El Centro police release new details on drug deal

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - El Centro Police say the two men involved in a drug deal are back on the streets.

El Centro Police say the suspect will face attempted murder charge.

However, the suspect is out of jail after posting bail.

Earlier, a drug deal in El Centro took a turn last Thursday when gunfire erupted.

During the investigation, police say the suspect claims he fired in self-defense after the person he was selling weed to tried to rob him.
