San Luis Río Colorado coronavirus cases reach 422

HERMOSILLO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY) - The Sonoran Secretary of Health announced an increase of 28 new cases in San Luis Río Colorado (SLRC) Saturday evening, bringing the total to 422.

Enrique Clausen Iberri, the Secretary of Health, announced the death toll in SLRC remains at 50, the highest out of any city in Sonora.

Hermosillo, Sonora's capital, leads in terms of total cases, having seen an increase of 55 new cases Saturday. The total is now at 741.

There are now 2,284 cases in Sonora, with 177 deaths. Iberri says 234 of these cases are currently hospitalized, and 134 are in critical condition.

Iberri reported four new deaths statewide. They are are reported to be male, from Cajeme (2), Hermosillo (1) and Navajoa (1).
