EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The Imperial County Registrar's Office says voters are coming in to get their votes in.

The County says everything has been smooth sailing so far.

However, the County also says that some residents don't understand as to why they have to wear a mask inside.

Linsey Dale is the County Registrar. Dale says this year voting has to be done inside the Imperial County Public Health Department.

"We are using the facilities of the health department, therefore there are masking requirements but we are making special accommodations for those who do not want to wear one," she said.
