Hobbs declines gubernatorial debate

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - In a shocking turn of events, governor candidate Katie Hobbs officially declined to participate in the gubernatorial debate planned for October 12.

Hobbs' team sent a letter to the Arizona Clean Elections Department, making it official.

This comes after Clean Elections rejected Hobbs' request, proposing two separate interviews.

At this time, however, there will only be a US Senate debate set for October 6.
