Frontrunners split victories as first polls close

The first polls in the Super Tuesday contest are closing, and already two candidates are claiming victory.

NBC News is projecting former Vice-President Joe Biden will win the Virginia Democratic primary. It's giving the victory to Bernie Sanders in Vermont.

More than 1,300 delegates are at play in 14 states.
