Senator Kyrsten Sinema sends congratulations to Yuma County graduates

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KYMA, KECY) - Senator Kyrsten Sinema added her voice to the chorus of people offering congratulations to Yuma's Class of 2020.

Sinema sent this message to grads Tuesday morning:

“Congrats, Yuma County graduates! Your hard work paid off. While graduation celebrations look differently these days, know that Arizonans are so proud of your achievements. Keep dreaming big.”

Grad week kicked off Monday in Yuma County with the virtual commencements of Vista and Gila Ridge High School. It continues Tuesday night at 7 when San Luis High School celebrates its Class of 2020 in a special presentation on Facebook. Cibola will hold its virtual commencement Wednesday. Kofa and Antelope graduate Thursday. Yuma's grad week celebrations wrap up Friday evening with Yuma High and Harvest Preparatory Academy.
