You can catch Jenny Day anchoring KYMA News 11 at 5, 6, and 10 p.m. weekdays.
Jenny has been a reporter for nearly a decade, getting to cover some of the nation's top stories, but has a true passion for stories surrounding cancer research and awareness. "It's time for a cure!"
She was born and raised in San Diego and studied Broadcast Journalism and Spanish at SDSU. She then moved all the way to Northern Minnesota to get her start in TV news. There, she embraced the cold and even got into ice fishing! After that, she moved to beautiful Vermont, then back to San Diego. Jenny says Yuma was the perfect next jump for her and she's excited to explore the Desert Southwest and our nearby border towns. "I feel lucky to be in a community with so much diversity! Send me your story ideas, taco shop suggestions, and favorite things to do in triple-digit heat!"
Outside of work, Jenny spends time with family and loves being on the water. She also loves to travel and just recently returned from a once in a lifetime trip to South Africa.
