YPD finds and questions hit and run suspect

YUMA, Ariz. – The Yuma Police Department found the person of interest they say was involved in a hit-and-run incident in May.

Police say they are currently interviewing the suspect they have not mentioned anything about an arrest or any charges at this time.

Police got an image of the driver and his car through surveillance video at the Circle K at 695 S. Fourth Ave., where the incident happened.

The man allegedly hit a pedestrian in the parking lot of the convenience store and drove off in a silver van on May 9th, 2016.
