BREAKING NEWS: Magnitude 4.3 quake strikes Imperial County

Winning ticket bought in Chino Hills

YUMA, Ariz. – The question of the day was, who wants to be a billionaire? All day Wednesday, people were running out to get their tickets for the Powerball.

The winner has been announced but unfortunately not in Yuma or Imperial County.

Sources say the winning ticket was sold in Chino Hills, California. We spoke to locals on Wednesday to see what they would do if they won the jackpot.

People lined up across the country to get their Powerball Megamillion tickets at just 2 dollars each for the $1.5 billion jackpot, the biggest in history.

The odds of winning Wednesday’s drawing were one in 292 million, which shows you are more likely to become a movie star or the President of the United States. There are two options for the winnings to be distributed in one lump sum of 868 million or 30 payments over 29 years, starting with the first payment of 22 million dollars.

Powerball was drawn at 8:59 Arizona time. The winning numbers are 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 and Powerball 10.
