A Brawley man landed behind bars for causing a car crash that killed a person Sunday.
27-year-old Scotty De La Torre is at the Imperial County jail on felony charges of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.
About 4 p.m. Sunday, Brawley police say he was driving an SUV and crashed into another vehicle.
It burst in flames and killed the driver inside.
