17 year old Richard Limones pleaded guilty to eight counts of attempted armed robbery and one count of theft in Yuma Superior Court Friday morning.
According to the terms of the plea agreement, the teen will be sentenced to 6 1/2 years for each count.
All of the sentences will be served at the same time.
Limones also has to testify in the case against co-defendant, Dennis Aguerro, who allegedly helped him commit the string of robberies.
Yuma police arrested Limones and Aguerro in July after a woman thought she was being followed by the pair.
The two were then tied to several robberies in Yuma that spanned from February to July of last year.
Meanwhile, trial is expected to start this summer for a man accused of child sex crimes.

Last May officers found the toddler dead inside Spry's home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
She faces second degree murder along with four other charges.
