Attorney general Tom Horne came to Yuma City Hall today. He's letting people know about an event coming up on Tuesday, November 19th. The event will be held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Neighborhood center...Starting at 10:30 AM.
Horne plans to explain options of relief for homeowners, especially victims of fraud and those with mortgage issues. The attorney general says community members have access to free counseling and lawyers.
Yuma and Tucson are the hardest hit cities with foreclosure rates in the state.
Horne says the funding for the resources comes from $41 million in remaining funds from the joint state-federal settlement.
