Three weeks after a 30-year-old Marine was critically wounded by gunshots in the El Encanto apartment parking lot, Yuma police have made four arrests, while one suspect remains on the loose.
Police are still searching for Christopher Solis, 23.
Monday morning, police served two search warrants and arrested four people.
At an apartment complex in the 1900 block of S. Madison Ave., police arrested Anthony Solis, 22, Jose Guzman, 22, and Raven Myers, 19.
The second search warrant was at an apartment in the 2500 block of E. 15th Pl. where Emiliano Solis, 24, was arrested.
Anthony and Emiliano Solis and Guzman were booked for attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault. Their bonds were each set at more than $585,000 each.
Myers was booked for hindering prosecution. Her bond was set at more than $55,000.
In the early hours of Aug. 10, police found the 30-year-old victim with a gunshot wound in critical condition in the parking lot of the El Encanto Apartments.
Police say an argument began earlier that night between two groups at the Mineshaft bar in Yuma.
Police say the group followed the other group of men to the El Encanto apartments and shot a man at the scene.
The suspects then took off in a dark-colored Chevy Malibu.
Police say Myers sold that vehicle sometime after the shooting.
Friday, police released a surveillance photo of three men involved in the shooting.
The victim was left with permanent unspecified injuries, none of which are life threatening, according to YPD.
The suspects will be back in court Tuesday.
If you have any information on this case, YPD asks you to call them at (928) 373- 4679 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
