After a strong 2012 campaign, the Cibola Raiders look to once again be a major football powerhouse in Yuma.
With returning 3 year starter Lucky Arvizo at quarterback, and a strong defense anchored by twin brothers Josh and Jacob Hansen, Cibola is putting themselves in prime position to be one of the very best in the Gila Valley.
Arvizo is excited about his team’s chances, and so is his father, who just so happens to be his head coach.
The Raiders face a tough test in their first matchup, as they host the Imperial Tigers at home.
They will have the daunting task of stopping the 2012 Imperial Valley League Player of the Year Royce Freeman.
The mayhem begins tomorrow night, and the Raiders hope to pull off a big win to start the year.
