The was date, June 24th, 2005.
At around 8:45 that night police were called to 2037 la mesa street after a frantic 9-1-1 call reported shots fired and someone yelling for help.
But they were too late to save 35-year-old Luis Rios, who was found in the backyard of the house with several gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead shortly after at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
Inside the home, they found an even more gruesome scene.
There they discovered the body of 29-year-old Adrienne Heredia, along with her four children, Andreas and Enrique Crawford, Inez Newman, and Danny Heredia, suffocated to death.
Eight years later, police still have no leads, as they continue to work off of a sketch of the killer, compiled by witnesses on scene that fateful day.
Detectives have followed up on hundreds of tips and sifted through thousands of pieces of evidence, but have come up empty.
Somewhere, someone, knows who committed these horrific murders.
Now it is not only up to police, but the entire community, to help bring a cold-blooded killer to justice.
