AZ State Senator Don Shooter may be in some legal trouble now. This is following the incident from last month where Shooter allegedly barged into his grandson's classroom and confronted the teacher.
Yuma Police tell News 11 they are recommending that prosecutors file four misdemeanor charges against Shooter. The charges include assault, interference or disruption of an educational institution, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
The assault charge didn't involve actual contact but is being requested because the teacher was fearful.
A statement shooter has provided says the teacher harassed and bulled his grandson and he was trying to resolve the problem.
