31-year-old Pasquale Mykal Menyhert appeared before a Yuma County judge Thursday afternoon.
Menyhert was arrested last week after the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant on a hotel room where he was staying and was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
During the search law enforcement officials also found multiple credit cards not belonging to Menyhert, and have connected him to a credit card scheme that officials say has at least 20 victims.
Menyhert was working 42-year-old Laurie Adey, who has also been arrested on credit card fraud.
Adey was a waitress at Parrish’s Bar and Grill, where she would steal credit card information from customers before passing it on to Menyhert so that he could make purchases.
Menyhert is facing four felony counts, including falsely using the identity of another, illegal trafficking of ID’s, and theft.
The Yuma native is being held on $100,000 cash only bond as prosecutors continue to gather evidence.
