Yuma County Sheriff's deputies are looking for two suspects who got away after robbing a Yuma man when they gave him a ride.
The victim, a 28-year-old man, accepted a ride from two men early Sunday afternoon near Sonic Drive-In near Avenue B and 32nd St.
At 12:50 p.m., the suspects drove the victim to another location in the area of Highway 95 and Madonna Rd.
That's when they told the victim to get out of the car, assaulted the victim, and stole his wallet, shoes and baseball cap.
The victim was able to escape and flag down a witness.
The suspects drove away in a car described as a white 2000 model Hyundai.
The victim was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff's Department, the suspects are described as two Hispanic men.
One may be in his mid 20s, about 6'1" and 200 lbs., with a mustache, tattoos on his chest and arms, dressed in a white t-shirt and black baseball cap.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his late 30s, also about 6'1" and 200 lbs. with a mustache, wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, and also wearing a black baseball cap.
