A man who burglarized Mr. G’s restaurant in Yuma is now being linked to a burglary in El Centro.

Security cameras caught a man burglarizing the Imperial Truck and Auto Parts store in El Centro several hours before the burglary at Mr. G’s.

He is wearing the same clothing and has similar facial features as the man described in the Yuma burglary.

He was able to make away with several thousand dollar’s worth of merchandise in El Centro.

Officer Joe Franklin with the Yuma Police Department confirmed that they are looking for the same suspect in both cases.

“It was the same day, he’s wearing the same thing clothing,” says Franklin. He matches the same description, and the same way of breaking into the front door and tearing the place apart looking for cash. Hopefully the public can help us identify this individual and put him behind bars for both burglaries in both cities.”

If you have any information on either case you are encouraged to contact the Yuma Police Department or dial 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
