A local man is behind bars after Yuma deputies say he tried to get into his ex-wife's home armed with a shotgun.

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office tells News 11 Larry Noll, 69, was arrested Saturday night. Deputies say Noll was intoxicated at a house on the 23000 block of County 12 and 1/4 Street in Wellton.

Deputies used a taser on Noll after he resisted arrest. During the scuffle a 12-gauge shotgun that Noll had on him went off but no one was harmed.

Noll was arrested for burglary in the first degree and is being held at the Yuma County Jail on a bond of more than $91,000.
