Two Wellton people lost their mobile home in a fire early Saturday morning.

The Wellton Fire Department says the blaze was reported around 2 a.m. Saturday coming from a mobile home near Dome St. and Los Angeles Ave.

The Wellton Fire Department said the fire started in the kitchen and spread to the rest of the mobile home.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the living room area, but the mobile home was destroyed.

The American Red Cross Grand Canyon chapter is helping the two people by giving them shelter, food and clothing.
