The jury still out in the case of a former high ranking California Highway Patrol officer accused of molesting underage girls.
This is the second day of deliberations. The jury continues to go over evidence and testimony.
Jurors are deciding the fate of former california highway patrol lieutenant Johnnie Swaim.
He’s accused of molesting two girls who are sisters.
On Wednesday jurors asked to see the videotaped interview of the younger sister when she revealed in detail how Swaim sexually molested her.
They’ve asked for the testimony of the two accusers to be read back to them.
Two other relatives were also witnesses who claimed Swaim molested them as well.
The two accusers were 5 and 7 at the time now they are 17 and 21. If he’s found guilty Swaim could serve up to 10 years in prison.
