Firefighters from Rural/Metro responded to a house fire in the Yuma foothills around 4:15 p.m. Saturday. The home is on the 12000 block of S. Ironwood Dr.

Rural/Metro said the fire was contained to the detached garage; the fire damaged everything in the garage, and Rural/Metro said nothing in the garage was recoverable.

There were no reports of injuries.

The owner was present at the time of the fire, according to Rural/Metro. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
