The Yuma Police Department tells News 11 Thursday at about 3:30 pm, a girl was walking home from Gila Vista Junior High southbound along Arizona Ave. Officers say she believed a white, bald male wearing a black shirt and grey pants was going to attempt to abduct her, so she ran into the McGraw Elementary school office and reported it to the office personnel; the office personnel called the Yuma Police Department.

During the investigation, Yuma Police Department detectives interviewed the female juvenile and determined there was no attempt to abduct the female juvenile.

The Yuma Police Department encourages anybody with any information about this case to please call the Yuma Police Department at (928) 783-4421 or 78-Crime (to remain anonymous).
