At about 3 a.m. Wednesday, Yuma police say an unidentified Hispanic man robbed a person walking just east of Madison Avenue on 1st Street.

Officers say the suspect demanded money from the victim while displaying a black folding pocket knife. He left with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as having an average build, approximately 5’7, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants. He's in his mid 20’s and has short facial hair.

The Yuma Police Department encourages anybody with any information about this case to please call them at (928) 783-4421 or 78-Crime to remain anonymous.
