VIDEO: Corgi Con in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (NBC) - After a three-year hiatus, Corgi Con returned to San Francisco on Saturday.

For the first time since the fall of 2019, the bi-annual event brought hundreds of the short-legged canines and their owners to Ocean Beach since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

The adorable pups competed in races and costume contests.

Organizers say the 6th annual Corgi Con was bigger than ever.

The event was free to anyone who has a corgi or just loves being around them.

It is usually held every June and October.
