At least 46 migrants dead inside tractor-trailer

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KYMA, KECY) - Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R - Texas) confirmed on Monday that at least 42 migrants were found dead in a tractor-trailer on the southwest side of San Antonio. San Antonio officials later confirmed the death toll rose to 46.

More than a dozen migrants were rushed to area hospitals. Abott took to twitter saying that the vehicle was being used to transport migrants. Officials said the deaths were likely caused by the heat, and that will be the focus of the investigation moving forward.
