Yuma teenager dies after gang shooting in neighborhood
YUMA, Ariz.- UPDATE: Yuma police spokesperson Lori Franklin confirms the teenager involved in the gang-related shooting died from his injuries.
Yuma Police Department officials initially reported the drive-by shooting happened on 17 Avenue near 5th Street. Witness say they saw and heard multiple shots being fired.
“I was there in my couch there in my bed. I thought someone was trying to come in and then I just went outside and I saw three cars, a Nissan, a white truck and a Jeep. So, they were just shooting this way and this way,” said a minor who lives in area where the incident happened.
