AWC hosts annual 3C Expo for high school students

YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western College is collaborating with the Yuma Union High School District and the Southwest Technical Education District of Yuma’s Career & Technical (CTE) for national CTE month.

The 3C Expo is an experiential learning project allowing ninth grade students to explore, connect, and learn about the many college and career pathways available to them. This is the third year for the 3C Expo.

Several high schools were in attendance including students from Cibola HS, Gila Ridge HS, Kofa HS, San Luis HS, Yuma HS and Antelope HS.

This expo is taking place across the country this month with this year’s theme of “Opportunities for Career Success!”

CTE month provides CTE programs nationwide with the opportunity to demonstrate how CTE makes students college and career ready alongside preparing them for high-wage, high-demand career fields.
