Amber Alert Issued In Abduction Of Mom, 1-Year-Old Son

LOS ANGELES, Calif. –

Update: Police say the mother and toddler have been found in South Los Angeles.

Amber Alert: Authorities issued an Amber Alert on Monday night after a report of the abduction of a woman and her toddler son from South Los Angeles. Police are looking for Luis Avalos, 22, who police say is a documented gang member, he is wanted in the abduction of Sabrina Sanchez, 22, and their 1-year-old son, Ayden Avalos.

Avalos is described as 5-foot-6, 140 pounds, with a shaved head and brown eyes. He has the name “Sabrina” tattooed on his left cheek, a tattoo of red lips on the right side of his neck and a tattoo of a rosary around his neck.

Police say Avalos is believed to be driving a silver 2006 Chevrolet Impala with tinted windows and a license plate number of 7LPF713.
